Families living in property in Darwin are encouraged to participate in the many activities on offer at the upcoming Water Safety Week.
Held from September 16 to 22, the campaign is an opportunity for those in the Northern Territory to learn more about keeping safe in and around the water, and there will be opportunities for people of all ages to join in the fun.
A lot of these are based right here in Darwin – why not head over to YMCA of the Top End on September 20 for the family fun night, which includes a BBQ in addition to some fun activities?
One of the highlights of the event is sure to be the Splashfest Family Fun Day, a free event that will draw the week to a close on September 22.
In addition to plenty of entertainment for the whole family, there will be lifeguards on hand to provide information and demonstrations.
Due to the city's fantastic location and proximity to the sea, water safety should be a priority for anyone living in real estate in Darwin – and next week is a great chance to brush up on your safety habits.
