If you are looking for a bit of Christmas cheer, then a visit to see the man in red himself might be in order.

In the two-week period before Christmas, residents of property in Darwin can head along at lunchtime to read out their present wishlists.

Santa will be in the mall every Monday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 1.30p.m, so bring the kids down, as well as your camera.

Alternatively, if you want to get in early, he will also be present in the Galleria from 10 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

On Monday December 16 he will be parking his sleigh at Karama Library, on Tuesday he will be at the city library and on Wednesday the reindeer will be taking him on a trip to Casuarina library. The final stop will be Nightcliff library on Thursday December 19.

Santa's visits are a highlight of the December calendar for many residents of real estate in Darwin.
