Fashionistas living in property in Darwin should be getting excited, with the Northern Territory Fashion Week for 2014 starting next month. Beginning on 26 October, the event aims to deliver seven action-packed days of the latest fashion designs and trends from eight designers, four jewellers, four milliners and eight retailers from all across the state.
Northern Territory Fashion Week managing creative director Mehali Tsangaris said pointed out the the transformation of Kerry's Automotive Group into an oasis for a highly-anticipated garden party, as well as three runway shows being performed at the Darwin Convention Centre.
"The runway shows will be super streamlined this year and due to popular demand we have added the ability to buy straight off the runway with our newly introduced 'Shop the Runway' initiative," said Mr Tsangaris in a 20 September statement.
The production values for this year's event have been amped up since last time, so attendees can expect glamorous fixtures, a sophisticated atmosphere and – most importantly – some spectacular fashion pieces.
Tickets for the event went on sale last Tuesday (23 September), so now could be a great time to secure your pass and schedule for the event and prepared to be dazzled by some of the state's most talented fashion icons.
