Let Your Kids Become Sleuths in Darwin

If you have children in your property in Darwin who have a secret desire to investigate crimes, they will be thrilled by the activities on offer at the city's libraries these summer holidays!

All four libraries in the city will feature an interactive theatre production, called 'the Detectives', so no matter where your real estate in Darwin is located you can easily catch a viewing of this show.

It features two detectives solving a crime, and the kids will be pleased to know their assistance will be required to solve the puzzle.

There are a whole raft of fun characters giving the kids a few clues along the way, as well as a few fun drama games.

This will take place from 2.30 to 4 p.m in Casuarina Library on January 7, in Nightcliff Library on January 8, in the City Library on January 9 and finally in Karama Library on January 10. You will need to book ahead as places are limited.

If that isn't enough to satisfy their sleuthing needs, you can take them down to the Library for the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) Super Science Sleuths activity the following week.

This will allow the kids to wear their investigators' hats with a hands-on adventure. They will get the chance to piece clues together to uncover the answer to CSIRO's question.

This fun activity will run throughout the libraries in the same rotation as 'the Detectives' starting in Casuarina on January 14 at 2.30 p.m and finishing in Karama Library on January 17.
