Residents of property in Darwin will have the chance to celebrate their multicultural city at one of its most popular precincts this August.
Polytoxic, a unique Australian dance company that blends Polynesian and contemporary dance styles, will be bringing its unique brand of theatre to the Darwin Waterfront Recreation Lagoon August 22-25. The appearance is part of the annual Darwin Festival.
Teaming up with Samuel Tupou, a Pacific visual artist, the group will showcase its performance, Trade Winds, which utilises water to tell the story of the meeting of two cultures.
It is the perfect exhibit to demonstrate the proud cosmopolitan nature of the city, something that those with real estate in Darwin will be well aware of.
The event is a must-see for the whole family and is sure to be one of the highlights of this year's Darwin Festival.
Performances begin at 6.30 pm and run for half an hour.
