The Darwin City Council has announced the creation of a Community Wellbeing Plan to help boost the welfare of everyone living in property in Darwin. Development of the plan has begun and should be completed by June of this year.
A Community Wellbeing Plan is based on the concept that the wellbeing of those living in the area is affected by a number of factors in the environment and local community.
The plan will support the council decision making processes on matters of concerns, in order to better improve the lives of those in the community.
Residents of real estate in Darwin can have a say on what is included in the plan by visiting the council website and filling out a quick and easy online survey.
Additionally, locals are invited to join the council for a community workshop on Monday March 24 at 5.30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Casuarina Library on Bradshaw Terrace. This workshop will help attendees understand the concept of the Wellbeing Plan and will give them the opportunity to voice any concerns or opinions.
All those in the Darwin community are encouraged to fill out the survey or attend a workshop in order to help improve make Darwin a more liveable city.
