A Little Ray of Giving 2018

ByKate Nolan

It’s that time of year again, where silly season descends upon us. The parties, rushing around, shopping, end of year catch ups, gifts, it can be easy to lose sight of what the season really counts for..

Each year we at Ray White Darwin like to give back and do this through our Christmas Charity campaign “A Little Ray Of Giving”. We collect gifts for disadvantaged children under our Christmas Tree during the month of December and incorporate these into our Christmas Hampers which we donate to the local charity; Variety The Children’s Charity – NT.

Last year was a huge success where we were able to play a part in donating 20 Hampers to the value of $10,000 to Variety NT and this year we would like to do this again! We couldn’t have done it without help and in particular the help and support from Ventia Pty Ltd who donated the food for our hampers. Ventia have kindly decided to donate this year again, which we are over the moon about!

So, where do you come in? Well, put simply, we need gifts for children, both boys and girls between the ages of 0 – 16. Wrapped and labelled with age group and gender. These gifts will then get added to each hamper ready to be donated to local schools via Variety NT to some families in need this Christmas.

If you feel like doing a good deed this Christmas then call into our office at 22 Stuart Highway and place your gift or gifts under our Christmas Tree. There is no better feeling than the gift of giving!
